MentorMate works in two basic modes: project-based and retainer-based.

Project-based

This mode focuses on delivering a specific project as a discrete piece of work. Sometimes this transitions into a more ongoing relationship.

There are two variants of project-based work; time and materials and fixed bid. In a time and materials construct we work on an hourly basis while providing guidance estimates. In a fixed bid we need detailed specifications in order to commit to a fixed cost. The pros of the project-based approach in general is that there is a defined commitment, especially in the fixed bid scenario.

Retainer-based

This mode focuses on delivering a long-term managed augmentation of your resources. This is a great solution when you know there will be a steady stream of ongoing work and you wish to obtain the most advantageous pricing. In this scenario we can dedicate resources to your effort on an ongoing basis. This comes with a notice period of typically 3-4 months.
