Blackberry is one of the oldest and most successful smartphone platforms. Despite recent inroads by iPhone and Android, Blackberry still commands a large share of the market, particularly for business use.

Blackberry application developers submit their apps to the Blackberry App World, which has the largest revenue per app of all major app stores. Blackberry application development is done using the Java programming language. Like Apple, RIM requires apps to be reviewed and evaluated prior to approval.

Atach-II App

MentorMate was chosen by the University of Minnesota to develop an multi-platform mobile application that enables users to enroll patients in the ATACH-II Clinical Trial. The application can be found in the BlackBerry App World under the name ATACH-2. The primary hypothesis of this trial is that treating hemorrhagic stroke survivors with intensive blood pressure reduction therapy will reduce the proportion of death and disability at 3 months by 10% or greater compared with the group treated with the standard blood pressure reduction therapy.

WS Radio App

This free mobile app will allow you to listen, live or on demand, to all of wsRadio’s broadcasts. wsRadio.com has a wide range of business, political, health, hobby, sports and special interest shows, including a broadcast by MentorMate’s own, Bjorn Stansvik. You can find all of our previous shows online or on the mobile application. Each show is archived by topic and date so you can listen to what you want, when you want.
