Back-end QA Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated Quality Engineer with a keen interest in the healthcare industry and testing medical software. The position is suitable for QE willing to go deep into API testing instead of user interface testing.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience working with an Agile implementation team
  • Strong technical understanding of API driven back-end systems
  • Experience in testing API driven back-end systems
  • Experience in test automation, e.g., Cucumber, scripting (bash, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Process-driven approach 
  • Excellent English
Responsibilities
  • Test back-end API using Postman and Swagger
  • Perform complex integration testing between different components
  • Write bash scripts to automate API tests
  • Create test plans and test reports
  • Close collaboration with Software Engineers to set expectations of testing
  • Close collaboration with Product Analysts to understand requirements
