Cloud & DevOps People Lead

We are looking to hire a motivated individual with strong leadership potential and a desire to step into a key role in our organization as a Team Lead in the Professional Services Cloud Center of Excellence (PS CCoE) team. You will be responsible for the career growth of your team members and the development of their professional expertise. You will establish team goals and work with direct reports on strategies for executing, measuring progress, and sharing results. You will also identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations, and influence team strategy through effective communication.

Team leading responsibilities
  • Coach individuals in terms of process, personal and technical development
  • Encourage the growth of all direct reports through skill development and goal setting
  • Create an environment where people are able to reach their full potential
  • Mentor staff, measure performance, and complete regular performance reviews
  • Be involved in the hiring process and support us in growing the team globally
  • Interview and assess candidates to find the best fit for the company
  • As part of the department’s leadership team, you will contribute to other department initiatives and optimizations
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a leadership role or a strong desire to step into one
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire others
  • Excellent client communication skills – a demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical individuals, gather information, give direction, and report status
  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire to see others succeed
  • Delivery-focused, self-motivated with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent spoken and written English
Technical skills

This role's primary focus will be people leadership (up to 75% of your time). We will be happy to see you if you have a technical background in Cloud engineering or system administration. Our goal will be to support you and we will set up an individual training and development plan for you to grow further your technical expertise. This may include some of the areas below, depending on your experience and interests:

  • AWS/Azure/GCP (we provide certification programs)
  • Building CI/CD pipelines
  • Infrastructure as code approach and tools
