We’re looking for an experienced HR Professional to lead our initiatives locally in Paraguay, and help drive MentorMate’s mission and business success to the next level. As a member of our local People Management team, you’ll be the go-to person for all HR-related matters in our Paraguayan delivery center. Reporting to the Global Director of HR, you’ll be part of a lean, fast-paced, and data-driven HR Management team. We’re scaling rapidly and working closely with the business to ensure that we develop and retain the people we need to remain at the front of the software engineering industry. In this role, you will be involved in overseeing individual motivation, retention, compensation and benefits, performance management, and ensuring compliance with country-specific HR laws and regulations. Responsibilities Develop and implement regional HR policies and procedures that align with the company's objectives and values Implement recognition and benefits programs to motivate and retain the employees Plan and execute employee events and initiatives that support the company's culture and values Conduct benchmarking studies to ensure that the work environment is healthy and conducive Consult and assist employees and managers, guided by the company's policies on HR-related matters Execute the onboarding process locally Administrate performance management process Take care of the administration of employee information Conduct exit interviews to identify areas for improvement and address potential issues Analyze employee turnover data and make recommendations for improvement Manage budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors Ensure the local office complies with government regulations and reporting requirements related to employees Requirements 5+ years of HR experience, with a least 3 years in a leadership role preferably in a software engineering field Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Excellent spoken and written English and Spanish Overview and experience in all internal HR processes - onboarding, performance management, events management, benefits, internal communication, training, culture Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company Proficiency with HR information systems.
