The long-term outlook for the DCOE is to become the premier data engineering practice in Bulgaria and to progress into the Advanced Analytics space (Data Science/Machine Learning(ML)/Artificial Intelligence (AI)) Responsibilities Establish, manage, and grow a team and capabilities in the Data & Analytics space Collaborate with Senior Technical Leaders to refine and execute MentorMate’s strategic and growth objectives in the Data & Analytics area Be MentorMate’s top technical expert in Data Engineering, Data Management and Analytics Consult clients and employees in data management, data engineering and Analytics Collaborate with Solutions, Design and Development functions in architecture, estimation, consulting and proposals for new and existing clients Research and follow technology trends and constantly improve the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence’s capabilities and offerings Requirements 7y+ experience in Technology of which at least 5y+ in Data & Analytics Experience with large-scale relational and non-relational data management systems Knowledge of cloud infrastructure related to data engineering and analytics (AWS, Azure or GCP) Proven track record in successful delivery of cross-functional data management & analytics solutions Previous experience in a leadership or management role Excellent spoken and written English Up to 30% time spent at the office during the first year Excellent people skills – demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non technical individuals, both in gathering information and communicating direction and status.
