Come and learn how to build your own serverless application with Daniel Rankov, the first AWS Community Hero in Bulgaria who helps others learn about AWS.

This one-day free & online technical workshop is designed to provide hands-on training on AWS Serverless. You’ll learn how to work with AWS Lambda, and spread the idea of serverless applications inside your organization. Serverless Immersion Days help shift the focus from a traditional server-based setup using AWS foundation services to more sophisticated and higher-level managed services.

During this online live event, you will learn:

  • How to leverage AWS services to build your own serverless application
  • How to leverage AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon DynamoDB, AWS Step Functions, Amazon Kinesis, and more
  • Best practices in serverless architecture

Who should attend?

  • Software developers and cloud enthusiasts interested in gaining experience on AWS.
  • Basic knowledge of AWS is recommended.

What do you need?

Bring your own AWS account for the event. AWS Credits are provided by MentorMate. The account should be created at least 24h before the event’s start.

About Daniel Rankov

Cloud & DevOps Manager at MentorMate/ AWS Community Hero

Daniel Rankov leads the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) team and guides the overall Cloud and DevOps strategy at MentorMate. Daniel is in a player-coach role, and he has multiple certifications on AWS, including Solution Architect and DevOps professional levels and Security and Networking specialties.
 
Daniel’s cloud journey began as one of the first people at HeleCloud, now an AWS Premier partner. There he became very passionate about AWS and all the benefits that the public cloud brings to businesses. This passion led him to become a co-organizer of the AWS Bulgaria User Group.

Daniel spent 10 years as a leader of the operations team at Trading212, building distributed, scalable, and secure low-latency, real-time trading platform. He worked very closely with the development teams and built a holistic view over the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Daniel embraces the DevOps culture and practices of collaboration towards a shared goal.
 
In 2021 Daniel is recognized as the first AWS Community Hero in Bulgaria and helps others learn about AWS by sharing knowledge via blog posts, presentations, social media, and open-source projects; and by organizing events, Meetups, and workshops.
