MentorMate Strengthens Global Operations Team, Appoints COO As we continue to expand globally, we’ve made changes to our organization to reflect this, including appointing Craig Knighton as our new COO. Minneapolis, MN, August 30, 2022 /PRNEWS/ — Placing a strengthened executive focus on its global operations, MentorMate has named Craig Knighton as its Chief Operating Officer. In his previous role as VP of Strategic Growth, Knighton bolstered MentorMate’s service offerings by seeking out new service opportunities. Notably, he was instrumental in bringing the company’s Data & Analytics and DXP services to market earlier this year. He also helped establish a strategic partnership between MentorMate and Software Natura in Asunción, Paraguay. “2021 and the first half of 2022 were full of unprecedented firsts for MentorMate,” says CEO Björn Stansvik. “We experienced record growth, launched our updated brand identity, and now have well over 1,000 employees in over 30 countries and nine time zones. All of that continued growth makes the addition of this role critical to how we deliver value to our clients.” “As we’ve expanded our footprint outside of the U.S. and Bulgaria, our leadership team has focused on building an organization that delivers digital transformation and custom application development on a global scale,” adds President Jamie Bolseth. “But global delivery comes with a unique set of challenges around things like accountability, oversight, and governance as well as junior development and upskilling. This emphasis on our global operations addresses those challenges.” In addition to Knighton’s new role as COO, MentorMate’s executive operations leadership team now includes Global VP, Operations Ian Good (previously Director of Delivery) and Global VP, Delivery Eleonora Georgieva (formerly VP of Delivery), Global Director, PMO Brian Buchkosky and Global Director, Continuation Engineering Liz Spolyar round out the rest of the team’s leadership roles. “Any company that experiences the kind of success and growth that MentorMate has must work extra hard to continue delivering the level of service and quality that clients expect,” says Knighton. “With myself, Ian Good, Eleonora Georgieva, and the rest of the operations team focusing on global delivery, I’m confident that we can do exactly that despite any growth challenges we may encounter.” Share Share on Facebook Share on LinkedIn Share on Twitter
