MentorMate Wins BA Project of the Year Award Our work with TempWorks earned us the prestigious “BA Project of the Year” award from The Bulgarian Chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). Sofia, BG, August 4, 2022 /PRNEWS/ — The Bulgarian Chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) announced MentorMate as the winner of its prestigious “BA Project of the Year” award for its work with TempWorks. The team responsible for the award-winning work includes MentorMate business analysts Ivelina Toshkova, Ivelina Kavalova, Ivo Nikolov, and Georgi Dyankov. Throughout 2021, the team led TempWorks — a premier staffing and recruiting provider — through establishing and growing its onsite BA team. Additionally, they provided the framework for fast integration of new BA competencies and scaled the company’s use of the Agile methodology. “At the onset of our engagement with MentorMate, the TempWorks BA role was in its infancy,” says TempWorks VP of Operations Alisha Santoorjian. “We worked with a few senior BAs from MentorMate who brought extraordinary value to our projects by collaborating with developers, conducting client interviews, and fleshing out requirements. Their experience, consultation, and collaboration with in-house resources helped demonstrate the myriad ways BAs bring value to projects.” After that initial success, TempWorks brought on additional MentorMate BAs, eventually integrating a BA into every development team. According to Santoorjian, that shift resulted in more well-defined requirements, fewer missed requirements, increased customer engagement during the development process, and improved communication with stakeholders within the organization. The “BA Project of the Year” award is an annual prize that recognizes exceptional BA work within a specific project. The IIBA considers the BA techniques applied and the overall business benefits of the work provided to stakeholders. “Winning this year’s BA Project of the Year was a great achievement for our team and the entire company,” says Ivelina Toshkova. “We helped grow the TempWorks BA department and contributed to the greater BA community by providing know-how on some very innovative approaches.” Share Share on Facebook Share on LinkedIn Share on Twitter
