As we look ahead to the coming year, we’re very excited about a few different initiatives here at MentorMate. Each of these items rolls up into our greater mission of making offshore software development easier than it’s ever been for clients.
Offshore Design Made Easy
In our nearly twenty-year history as a company, we’ve developed a better approach to offshore software development. Now, we’re extending that model and boosting our design offerings. We’ve built a robust design team both in Bulgaria and in our Minneapolis office to meet the design needs of our clients. Additionally, we brought Denny Royal on board as VP of Design to lead these efforts and provide a larger vision for what design looks like at MentorMate.
Keeping The Momentum Going
2019 was a record-breaking year for us both in the number of employees and in how many clients we served. We’re going to keep that momentum going into 2020 and beyond.
To better serve our clients in highly-regulated industries like healthcare and finance, we’re adding additional certifications. This includes — but is certainly not limited to — SOC 2, which is a security standard that deals with things such as privacy, confidentiality, and availability.
Scalability and Efficiency
Another recurring them of 2020 for us will be scalability and efficiency. As we continue to grow, we need to ensure that all the different parts of our organization work together in unison.
Rather than just focusing on a particular technology, we make sure that the experience clients have working with us to achieve what is often a complex solution is as easy as possible. We achieve that not only through having very astute and critical thinkers in Bulgaria who are not afraid to ask questions but by also having a strong presence stateside. Our Minnesota-based project managers, solution strategists, and account managers make the interaction and interface with MentorMate a very easy one for our clients even though the topic many times is a complex one.
