Spotlight: Jeni Kyuchukova, Director of Quality and Process MentorMate Director of Quality and Processes Jeni Kyuchukova was among the first employees to join the company. Today, she manages the QA and the BA teams. Jeni Kyuchukova is MentorMate’s Director of Quality and Processes. Her main responsibilities are managing the QA and the BA teams. She started working at the company about 11 years ago when there were less than a dozen employees. We didn’t have any established processes around QA and we only conducted manual tests with no automation. Today, we have a very mature quality assurance process. Along with a big automation team, we are very proud of our automation framework that supports API, mobile, and web automation. This impressive growth is thanks to an amazing team that we started a decade ago. Back then, they were manual QAs or regular QAs, now they’re architects, managers, and leads. The BA practice didn’t exist back when Jeni started at MentorMate either. We established it several years ago and quickly the team tripled in size. Last year, we won second and third place for the BA project of the year. And we are very proud of it. While Jeni loves all of the projects she works on, she finds smaller, startup projects to be most charming because they short-term goals that feel really great to achieve. On the other hand, she likes the deeply technical work that established clients provide. Outside of work, Jeni is rarely bored. She keeps herself busy by playing with her three-year-old son and doing meditation and mindfulness work to help her relax.
