Spotlight: Plamen Stoev, Software Development Manager

As Software Development Manager at MentorMate, Plamen is responsible for making sure the right people are staffed to projects. His favorite part of working for MentorMate is the diversity that his day-to-day work offers and the various challenges that need to be solved.

He joined MentorMate eight years ago as a developer. At first, he was really excited because of how close the office was to his home. Now, it’s the clients that keep him energized to come to work every day. He loves being able to work with many different clients across many different industries like healthcare, education, and finance. He’s also passionate about DevCamp, MentorMate’s newest training program as it’s a great opportunity to find new talent to join the company.

Outside of work, Plamen has a lot of hobbies. He likes to spend time hiking and climbing in the mountains as well as taking photos. He’s also an avid dancer.
